The Samford Valley Weather Station web site is a free service provided personally by Steve Parry for the benefit and use of the local community.

But it costs time and money to establish and maintain community web sites. My time and skills are donated for nothing, but the costs are mounting to continue to provide a service such as this. I currently pay for the following out of my pocket:

Equipment (hardware and software) pucrhase costs including:

• The Davis Vantage Vue Automatic Weather Station including hardware data buffer unit.

• Interfacing equipment to the PC running the collection and uploading of data to the Internet.

• The host PC running the software.

• Donationware Weatherstation software.

• Web site template Donationware.

Ongoing costs including:

• Annual Web site hosting fees.

• Hardware and equipment repair and replacement.

• Software licensing.
